"Deadpool 2" seemingly has set its start date. According to Omega Underground, which obtains the schedule from casting site My Entertainment World, the "Deadpool" sequel will begin filming on May 1 in Vancouver. The filming was initially set for a January start, but director Tim Miller exited the project and it had to be delayed. David Leitch has now replaced Miller to direct the movie.

Recent report also said that "Deadpool 2" new characters would include Domino, with Kerry Washington currently testing for the role. Washington has responded to the report, but she neither confirmed nor denied it. "I don't have anything to say about that," she said. "[The 'Deadpool 2' writers] know more than I do. Of course I would [want the part]. But you have to get the right person for whatever role," she added.

The role was reportedly also offered to Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Sienna Miller, but both have turned it down. According to That Hashtag Show, Domino a.k.a. Neena Thurman's character breakdown includes "Female, all ethnicities; Late 20s-early 30s. Sexy, lithe and athletic. She has a witty personality. Neena is a no-nonsense badass who rarely shows her feeling. Highly capable, supremely confident and armored in...well ARMOR...and bullet-proof sarcasm."

Meanwhile, Pierce Brosnan has been reportedly in talks to play Domino's partner-in-crime Cable. The news stemmed from a photo shared by the Deadpool depicter Ryan Reynolds via his Instagram account last January. It was an intriguing image which featured himself, Brosnan and Hugh Jackman with "hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil" pose. There hasn't been official announcement from Fox about the casting, though.

"Deadpool 2" is set to hit U.S. theaters on March 2, 2018. Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), Karan Soni (Dopinder the taxi driver) and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) will return alongside Reynolds for the second film.
