Rihanna's guest-starring appearance on "Bates Motel" is previewed in new pictures from the upcoming fifth and final season of the A&E series. Making their way out via Entertainment Weekly, the photos show Rihanna's Marion Crane driving through the rain before she ends up at the door of Bates Motel.
She looks intense as she makes a phone call in her car in one of the pics. Another image depicts her ill-fated encounter with Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) and another shows her dressing neatly while looking at piles of money in a briefcase.

As fans have known, Marion is the heroine in Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 thriller "Psycho". She steals her boss' money for her boyfriend, goes on the run and lands at the Bates Motel. Portrayed by Janet Leigh, she's killed by Norman in the iconic shower scene at the end of the movie.
Asked if Rihanna's character will suffer the same fate as Leigh's, executive producer Kerry Ehrin quips, "Is there a shower scene?" She coyly adds, "All I can tell you is that we pulled 'Psycho' into 'Bates Motel', not vice-versa. That was always the goal and the fun of it. You will have to watch and find out!"
"Bates Motel" season 5 premieres Monday, February 20 at 10 P.M. ET on A&E.
