It's only days ago that Ben Higgins set the record straight about his romance with fiancee Lauren Bushnell, saying that their relationship's doing just fine amid rumors they're on the verge of breaking up. But for his fiancee, it seems that she indeed needs to try harder to make their relationship work smoothly.
Following the split rumors, Bushnell has finally broken her silence about her romance with the former Bachelor. The 27-year-old beauty, who got engaged to Higgins during the twentieth season of "The Bachelor", took to Instagram on Monday, February 6 to say, "We ain't perfect but we tryin." The post came alongside a photo of her hugging her fiance during a recent photo shoot with Valerie Darling.
Their relationship has been rumored to be in trouble in the last few days. Higgins recently debunked the split rumors by taking to Instagram to share a throwback pic with the caption which read, "No need to respond often to rumors or 'fake news' but the feeling I have in this picture is the same feeling I have for this girl today."
However, he reignited the breakup rumors after skipping Bushnell's birthday celebration in Mexico last Thursday. It's unclear why Higgins was missing his fiancee's birthday party, but the 28-year-old managed to send his well wishes via social media, tweeting, "It's @LaurenBushnell3 birthday today! Happy birthday!"
