New details about Scarlett Johansson's shocking breakup with Romain Dauriac have emerged. Hours after news of their split broke, an insider reveals to Us Weekly that the actress was the one deciding to end the 2-year marriage.

"Scarlett initiated splitting up and made the decision," the source says, adding that Johansson and Dauriac's very different lifestyles played part in the separation. The insider explains, "She felt like they didn't have much in common as far as lifestyle."

The source goes on assuring everyone that there's no drama between the former lovers, who have agreed to "have an amicable relationship" and co-parent their 2-year-old daughter Rose Dorothy. "[Johansson] feels blessed to have a daughter," the source shares.

Johansson and Dauriac secretly tied the knot in 2014 after welcoming their first child together. The two have reportedly been separated since last summer, but managed to keep the news a secret as they continued to work together on the popcorn brand Yummy Pop that they co-own. The exes were even pictured together last month during the grand opening party of the popcorn store at Paris' Theatre du Gymnase.

Prior to her marriage to Dauriac, Scarlett was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010.
