Jane Fonda and Richard Perry have called it quits after eight years together, according to a new report from Page Six. The 74-year-old music producer confirmed the split to the news outlet, saying, "That's true," before adding that they "are still very close."

Last week, Jane and Richard put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market for $13 million as they plan to live separately. A source told the publication that the 79-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the music mogul "are selling the house because they will live separately - they will still be friends."

Fonda said in a video accompanying the home's sale, "Richard and I must have looked at more than 30 houses, and the day we pulled in through the gate, I took one look at the house and I knew." She added, "It's a great house for parties. I had my 75th birthday here. There were about 150 and we could have had another 50."

Jane and Richard started dating after they met while she was having knee surgery back in 2009. The former couple moved in together shortly after. Jane confirmed their relationship in a 2012 interview, saying that she went to L.A. "to get a new knee and ended up with a new lover."

Jane was married three times prior to dating Richard. She got married to director Roger Vadim, activist Tom Hayden and media mogul Ted Turner. Richard, meanwhile, was previously married to Rebecca Broussard.
