AceShowbiz - Louis Tomlinson is officially back on the market. After weeks of speculations about their relationship, a source can confirm that the One Direction singer and his girlfriend of one year Danielle Campbell have broken up.
The source tells The Sun that there's no drama between the two former lovers, who have agreed to remain friends. "Louis and Danielle have made the decision to split up but they are still going to be mates," the source says. "They're still talking to each other and there is no bad feeling whatsoever."
The split came just weeks after Louis lost his mother Johannah Deakin to cancer. Danielle was nothing but supportive as her boyfriend mourned his mom's death. But they apparently stopped spending time together around the holiday season. The two last appeared on social media together on Christmas Eve, when she posted a picture of them in honor of his 25th birthday.
"It's really sad because Danielle has been there for Louis through this horrible time," the source shares how hard the breakup was for Louis. "She has stood by him, remained loyal and continued to be a great support, which is exactly what he needs."
"Sometimes these things just don't work out and for Louis and Danielle this was the best way forward," the source adds.
While Louis seems to spend most of his time focusing on his 1-year-old son Freddie and his solo career, Danielle appears to have moved on from him with another Brit, Gregg Sulkin. The two were recently spotted holding hands as they walked a London street.
