The 'Suicide Squad' actor may tease his comeback as Joker by posting Joker-related photos through his Snapchat account.

Apparently Jared Leto still desires to play Joker, or even suggests that he will reprise his role as the supervillain in DCEU movie. On Wednesday, January 18, the "Suicide Squad" actor shared two Joker-related photos through his Snapchat account.

The first photo features "Batman: The Killing Joke" comic book cover. The second one is Joker-esque velvet purple Gucci box with a gilded sharp tooth, which alludes to the fact that Batman (Ben Affleck) was supposed to knock Joker's teeth out before the events in "Suicide Squad". The fight scene, however, wasn't included in the movie.

Fans speculate that Leto may appear in Ben Affleck's upcoming "The Batman". But since Deathstroke has been confirmed as its villain, Joker's story will seem out of place. Another speculation is Leto may share screen with co-star Margot Robbie in "Gotham City Sirens". There hasn't been any confirmation about Leto's appearance in the movie, though. Leto is not included in "Justice League" cast members either.

Many of Leto's Joker scenes were cut from 2016's "Suicide Squad". Leto expressed his disappointment by saying, "Were there any that didn't get cut? I'm asking you, were there any that didn't get cut? There were so many scenes that got cut from the movie, I couldn't even start."

And then, seemingly alluding to the late Heath Ledger who formerly portrayed Joker, Leto added, "If I die anytime soon, it's probably likely that it'll surface somewhere. That's the good news about the death of an actor is all that stuff seems to come out."

Leto's latest Snapchat posts are the first Joker-related thing he has shared since "Suicide Squad" release last August.
