AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. has finally unleashed the first trailer for "CHiPs" big-screen remake. Debuted during the Wednesday, January 11 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", it features Dax Shepard as a rookie named Jon Baker who is paired up with undercover FBI agent Frank "Ponch" Poncharello, played by Michael Pena.
The trailer features lot of raunchy scenes, including one that shows Jon greeting his fellow rookie while he's only wearing an undergarment. Ponch, meanwhile, seems to feel disgusted to see nearly naked Jon and his friend. The nearly-three-minute video also offers a glimpse at Kristen Bell's character who encounters Jon while she's in a swimming pool.
The upcoming movie remake is rated R for its insane amounts of nudity. Shepard, who also serves as director and scribe, previously said that "there's female nudity," before adding, "There's more me nudity than probably any other nudity. And then yeah, there's a lot of adult material and sexual stuff and naughty language."
"CHiPs" is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on March 24. The remake of the '80s TV series follows the adventures of two California Highway Patrol motorcycle officers as they make their rounds on the freeways of Los Angeles. The action comedy flick is supported by the likes of Adam Brody, Ryan Hansen, Rosa Salazar and Vincent D'Onofrio.
