Are wedding bells ringing for Drake and Jennifer Lopez soon? According to a source, the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker has gotten approval from the "Ain't Your Mama" songstress' father and it has her heart melting.

"J.Lo was on the phone talking to her dad, having a sweet moment, and Drake told her he wanted to talk to him and say hello. She gave him the phone and didn't know what Drake was going to say. She was nervous but when Drake said what he said to her dad, she nearly melted. It was quite a cute moment," reveals an insider.

According to the insider, Drizzy even promised J.Lo's dad that "he'd never hurt his daughter." The insider tells HollywoodLife.com, "Drake wanted ensure him that he's a good man and has J.Lo's best intentions at heart. She's really special to him and he's really into her and going out of his way to let everyone in the world know that."

Another source reveals that Drake "told mom he's never smiled as much in his life as he does when he's with Jennifer."

Drake and J.Lo were last seen together during a dinner date at Nobu Malibu on January 5. At the time, the pair were spotted wrapping their arms around each other as they headed out of their car.
