Police investigation in Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery have shown progress. Sixteen people were arrested in France on Monday, January 9 in connection with the armed robbery of the reality TV star, according to multiple reports.

Europe 1 and RTL Radio (via Us Weekly) report that police got leads on those suspects, partly thanks to traces of DNA that the robbers left behind when they bound and gagged the 36-year-old socialite in her Paris apartment on October 3. Reuters additionally says that some of the suspects are being held for questioning by police, while RTL reports that the raids took place in different areas at about 6 A.M.

It's not known at this stage if the stolen items have been sold or whether they can be recovered. As reported before, the robbers took an estimated $10 million in jewelry, including her 20-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, during the heist.

Kim has since been keeping a low profile, though she has slowly made a return on social media.
