AceShowbiz - Louis van Amstel has got married to health coach Joshua Lancaster. PEOPLE confirmed that the "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer and his 27-year-old husband exchanged wedding vows on Sunday evening, January 8 in Sundance, Utah.
"We wanted a winter wedding," Louis told the publication about the wedding place. Joshua explained, "Sundance happens to be one of the private, romantic traditions between the two of us, so it seems only fitting to host the wedding there."
About 137 guests attended the outdoor ceremony. Louis' partner in the ninth season of "DWTS", Kelly Osbourne, served as a flower girl, while former "Dawson's Creek" star Mary-Margaret Humes served as his best man. Also in attendance were Louis' partner in season 15 of "DWTS", Sabrina Bryan, and fellow former pro dancer Chelsie Hightower.
"We had a whole group of wedding party in mumus and Uggs on Sunday morning to stamp down the snow," shared Louis. "We wanted it to be an experience, not just a decorated room." He continued, "We wanted to be surrounded by good friends," adding, "I guess it's the European in me, but I didn't want anything fake. That's why Josh and I works so well. He's completely real."
Louis took to Instagram on Thursday, January 5 to share a picture of him and Joshua in the "lawn where we are getting married." The 44-year-old dancer excitedly wrote in the caption, "We have a lot of work to do. Clearing all that snow in two days...haha!"
Louis and Joshua first met in 2009 at a bar in Los Angeles where Louis lives while filming "DWTS". They dated long-distance for four years before the health coach moved from Austin to Utah with him.
