AceShowbiz - Dynamic duo The Chainsmokers begins the new year with a new track. Performing at their headlining gig at Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday, December 30, the duo debuted a brand new song, which they previously teased on social media over the past month.

The song sounds more mellow than their previous hits. From a video captured by fan, Chainsmokers' Andrew Taggart can be heard singing, "We were staying in Paris to get away from your parents/ If we go down, then we go down together/ They'll say you could do anything, they'll say that I was clever."

Fans went into Twitter meltdown after the duo performed the track. A fan tweeted, "I NEED YOUR NEW SONG PARIS NOW," while another wrote, "can't wait!! I'm excited." The "Closer" hitmaker quickly responded to their fans by saying that the track will be out "soon."

The Chainsmokers also brought special guests like Big Sean and the Backstreet Boys for the Friday gig. The boyband performed their 90's hits "I Want It That Way" and "Larger Than Life", while the rapper spit his 2015 single "I Don't F**k With You".

Last month, the duo shared two Snapchat videos, which previewed an upcoming song reportedly titled "Paris". Since then, fans have been questioning who the female vocalist was. However, an August tweet from The Chainsmokers apparently suggested the answer.

On August 31, the duo tagged French singer Louane in a post that read, "Hot damn @louane this is some [fire emojis] can't wait to wrap this up." The tweet seemingly referred to their collaboration, debunking the rumored collaboration with Selena Gomez.
