Tristan Thompson welcomed his first child, a boy, with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig earlier this month in Los Angeles. But for some unknown reasons, the NBA star's name was nowhere to be seen on his son's birth certificate, according to TMZ.
The site reports that Jordan is naturally listed as the mother, but the space for the other parent is left empty. However, the model is still letting her kid, whom she named Prince Oliver, have Tristan's surname.
TMZ notes that in California, a father has to be present at the hospital to sign the initial birth certificate. So this probably means Tristan might have missed the moment his ex-lover gave birth to the little boy, and he might add his name to the certificate later.
Jordan, the cousin of Kevin Hart's wife Eniko Parrish, welcomed baby Prince on December 12. Though he has now moved on with Khloe Kardashian, Tristan reportedly wants to be involved in the kid's life. His reality TV star girlfriend is said to be supporting his decision.
