Brit Morgan is set to play Livewire again and Frederick Schmidt is expected to reprise his role as Metallo a.k.a. John Corben in future episodes of The CW's series.

AceShowbiz - "Supergirl" is bringing back familiar faces in 2017, though they are not the friendly ones. The show is going to stage a rematch between the Girl of Steel (Melissa Benoist) and some of her foes in new episodes of its season 2.
Among the villains set to return in the new year are Livewire (Brit Morgan) and Metallo (Frederick Schmidt), TVLine reports. Livewire first appeared in season 1 in an episode that chronicled her transformation from a CatCo employee, Leslie Willis, to a vengeful maniac. She returned in a "Supergirl" / "The Flash" crossover episode earlier this year.
As for Metallo a.k.a. John Corben, he was introduced in the second season 2 premiere and also appeared in the second episode, during which Kara teamed up with her cousin Kal-El a.k.a. Superman, portrayed by Tyler Hoechlin.
Executive producer Ali Adler says more "fan-favorite" villains will reappear this season. The show will return with the remainder of season 2 starting January 23, 2017.
