AceShowbiz - The CW has released a new trailer for "Supergirl" midseason return. In the trailer, Kara (Melissa Benoist) is seen bleeding and powerless as she lands on an alternate planet under a red sun.
Comic book fans must know that most of Superman's powers come from Earth's yellow sun, while being under a red sun weakens him. The same thing apparently happens to Supergirl. She may not be able to use her powers in the scene which means that danger could be coming on her way soon.
The trailer also offers a glimpse of Dichen Lachman, who makes her return as Roulette. It also features James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) who suits up as the Guardian and is seen destroying a place using his techno weapon.
"Supergirl" will return with the new episode titled "Supergirl Lives" on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 8 P.M. ET on The CW. The episode was written by Andrew Kreisberg and directed by Kevin Smith.
