Another baby is underway for Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard. The "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" star and her husband confirmed to PEOPLE Tuesday, December 20 that they're expecting their second child together. The baby, due in July, will join 20-month Israel.
"We are so excited to be expecting Dillard baby #2!" Jill and Derick told the publication. "Children really are a wonderful blessing from God. Having Israel has been such a delight to us that we know a second sweet baby will only continue to add joy to our family. We are thankful to God for this sweet child and we cannot wait to see her or him face to face!"
The happy couple also shared the exciting news with their fans via a TLC video shared on their blog. "I had been through, like, tons of pregnancy tests ... so when we got a positive pregnancy test, I took like, three, and I was, like, '[gasp] Really?!' I was so excited," said Jill.
The pair also talked about their son Israel, whom they believed would be a "great big brother." Jill shared, "He already loves, like, other little babies, and the only thing I think he's gonna have to work on is learning that babies that are smaller than you, you have to be more gentle with." Derick added, "We just look forward to growing as a family."
Jill, who tied the knot with Derick in 2014, is not the only Duggar who's currently expecting a baby. Her sister Jessa Duggar is now also pregnant with her second child. The 24-year-old and her husband Ben Seewald are already parents to 13-month-old boy named Spurgeon.
