Soulja Boy was arrested on Thursday morning, December 15 for possessing a firearm while on his probation. According to TMZ, cops were called to the 26-year-old rapper's Hollywood Hills home after receiving a Crime Stoppers tip that "he had been threatening people online with guns."

A spokesperson for the L.A.P.D. confirmed to The Los Angeles Time that officers found a gun while searching Soulja's home. "Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested about 7 A.M. at his home in the 3200 block of Dos Palos Drive," said Officer Jenny Houser.

Soulja is not allowed to own any weapon as he is on probation that will end this month. The Chicago native was arrested for illegally carrying a loaded gun in 2014 in Granada Hills, before he took a plea deal which included 24 months of probation.

Back in 2011, the "Crack That (Soulja Boy)" rapper was also arrested on felony drug, cash and weapons charges at traffic stop in Georgia. Later on the same day, he claimed innocence after posting a $10.000 bond.
