Several pictures taken from the Iceland set of the superheroes team-up movie feature the muscled actor as Aquaman who is seen rising from the depths.

AceShowbiz - As filming on Zack Snyder's "Justice League" continues in Iceland, a batch of on-set images have landed online. Featuring Jason Momoa as Aquaman, some of the behind-the-scenes photos show him rising from the water at the final filming location.

He can also be seen in one image bulking up while showing off his intimidating glare in front of a camera. The King of Atlantis bares his sturdy chest as he only sports leather pants and a pair of boots, with his long hair down.

"Justice League" is coming to U.S. theaters on November 17, 2017. Written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer, it follows Momoa's Atlantean King who will fight alongside his fellow vigilantes that include Ben Affleck's The Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher's Cyborg and Ezra Miller's The Flash.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's [Henry Cavill] selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, they work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.
