Angelina Jolie is "holding on" after her split from Brad Pitt, according to her estranged father Jon Voight. The "Ray Donovan" actor gave update on his daughter and what his family would do on Christmas while attending the 22nd Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday, December 11.

"She's OK," Jon told E!'s Marc Malkin, when asked about Angie's condition amid her divorce and custody battle against Brad, "She's holding on." Of his plans for the upcoming holidays, he said, "Christmas is family, and I have lots of family. I'm hoping to see my grandchildren. I'm hoping to see my grandnieces and nephews and be with them."

"I'm making the plans now. By the way, I'm supposed to be making these plane flights right as we speak. I'm a little behind," the 77-year-old actor joked, before adding, "I have a couple of things that I do for the grandkids. They look forward to the same things every year. The kids in New York, we get to see a show. So, I get them all tickets to a show that they like."

Rumor has it, Angie wanted to cut Brad out of their six children's lives as their custody war was getting "nastier." A source told HollywoodLife.com, "Angelina is really upset, she didn't think Brad would fight this hard for the kids - she thought he would roll over and she would get her way. But Brad's vowed to do everything in his power to gain as much custody of the kids as possible. He's not going to just cave in and allow Angie to play her games."

The source added, "For some reason, Angelina thought she would be able to cut Brad out of their lives for good, and she's learning she can't. He's their dad for heaven's sake, he has the right to see them. Prepare yourselves, you haven't seen anything yet-this divorce is about to get a whole lot nastier."
