The 'All of Me' hitmaker returns with his upcoming fifth studio album 'Darkness and Light', which is due out on December 2.

AceShowbiz - John Legend is set to release his fifth studio album "Darkness and Light" on December 2. The "All of Me" hitmaker has unveiled three songs from his upcoming record, including its lead single "Love Me Now", "Penthouse Floor" featuring Chance The Rapper and "I Know Better".

A music video for "Love Me Now", which debuted at number 55 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, was released on November 11. The Nabil Elderkin-helmed clip, which features John, his wife Chrissy Teigen and their baby daughter Luna has since garnered more than 21 million views.

Also featured in the video were immigrant families, refugees and same-sex couples from all over the world including the Domiz Refugee Camp in Northern Iraq, Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, and Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota.

John recently hit the 2016 American Music Awards stage for the first time, performing "Love Me Now".

"Darkness and Light" features 12 self-written tracks which also includes John's collaborations with Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes and Miguel as well as a song for Luna titled "Right by You". "The music is really, really, good," he said, "I think it's my best work yet."
