AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are rumored to be attending the 2016 American Music Awards together this weekend. Rumor has it, the "Hands to Myself" songstress will be the date of the "Let Me Love You" hitmaker.
Headline & Global News asserts, "Selena Gomez will be the date of Justin Bieber in the upcoming American Music Awards, reports suggest. The rumored couple is both nominated for Artist of the Year Award. Since Justin and Selena will both compete for the Artist of the Year Award for the AMAs, rumors are rife that this event will be their first public appearance together after rekindling their romance. It has been reported that Jelena's romance is not yet over and proofs will all point to Justin's frequent visits in the rehab."
The site goes on to talk about Justin and Selena's rumored wedding. "As reported too on HNGN, the two already planned for a secret wedding and that Selena was talking like she's already engaged," claims the site, "Moreover, after that rumor, there was also speculation that Selena and Justin already tied the knot in a private island secretly and that they decided to stay away from L.A. after the wedding."
While representatives for Justin and Selena haven't responded to a request for comment, the "Cold Water" hitmaker is unlikely to make an appearance at the 2016 AMAs as he is scheduled for a "Purpose Tour" show in Bologna, Italy that night. Selena, however, is rumored to make her first stage return since entering rehab at the Sunday show.
Justin is pitted against Selena as well as Ariana Grande, Rihanna and Carrie Underwood in the top Artist of the Year category for the 2016 AMAs, which will air live on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 20 at 8 P.M. ET.
