Serena Williams and Common are rumored to be rekindling their romance after the exes were spotted at the same event over the weekend. Both of them attended the grand opening of Yetunde Price Resource Center in Compton, California on Friday, November 11.

According to an eyewitness, Serena and Common were chatting in a back room before she spoke to the audience. While the former couple was careful to avoid taking photos together, they did take individual picture with Compton's mayor, Aja Brown.

Aja shared a photo of her posing with Serena and her sister Venus Williams, who also attended the event.

Serena donned a beige turtleneck dress, while Common sported a grey suit with turtleneck top. They reportedly left in separate cars after the event.

Serena and Common split in 2010 after more than a year of dating. While the 35-year-old professional tennis player and the 44-year-old rapper have remained friends since breaking up, the eyewitness tells TMZ that the pair "seemed like more than buddies" during the event.
