Sylvester Stallone's 3 Daughters Chosen as Miss Golden Globe 2017

Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet Stallone are chosen by the HFPA to help hand out statuettes to the winners during the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards.
For the first time ever, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association selects not one, but three ladies to be Miss Golden Globe. The committee made the announcement on Thursday, November 10 that Sylvester Stallone's daughters Sophia, 20, Sistine, 18, and Scarlet, 14, would help hand out statuettes to the winners during the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards.

"For the first time in Golden Globe history, we have proudly selected not one but three Miss Golden Globe representatives," said HFPA President Lorenzo Soria in a statement. "The Stallone sisters will continue our time honored tradition of handing out the statuettes at the awards ceremony."

"Each of the lovely young women in the triad have had success whether it be in academics, sports or pursuing a modeling career. With being raised by such role models Sylvester and [Jennifer Flavin], we can't wait to see what the future has in store for these ladies."

The sisters said in a joint statement, "We're thrilled to not only be part of the Golden Globe tradition, but to be making history as the first set of siblings ever chosen for the title and duties. We are proud to be part of the HFPA family, an organization that multiple times has recognized our father's work in film."

Previous honorees included Don Johnson's daughter Dakota Johnson, Jack Nicholson's daughter Lorraine Nicholson, Bruce Willis's daughter Rumer Willis, Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca Eastwood and Kevin Bacon's daughter Sosie Bacon. In 2016, Jamie Foxx's daughter Corinne stood as Miss Golden Globe.

The 2017 Golden Globe Awards will air live on NBC on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with Jimmy Fallon as the host. Additionally, Golden Globe-winning actress Meryl Streep will be honored at the ceremony with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
