Noah '40' Shebib explains why the 'Famous' hitmaker is credited on Drake's song 'Two Birds One Stone', which took a dig at Kid and Pusha T.

AceShowbiz - Drake's producer Noah "40" Shebib clears up Kanye West's role on "Two Birds One Stone", which took a dig at Kid Cudi and Pusha T. Controversy heightened after Kanye was revealed as a co-writer, co-producer and co-composer for the song earlier this week.

According to Noah, he and Kanye simply collaborated on the track's production. "Me and Kanye produced the track," he tells Genius, "I made it from some drums he had given me. Not quite the elaborate story the world is looking for."

While Kanye is listed as the lyricist/writer of "Two Birds One Stone" on Tidal, it doesn't mean the "Famous" hitmaker had a hand in penning the song. "When someone contributes to a song as a producer/musician they are considered a writer, as he is alongside Noah Shebib and the other musicians on the song," a source close to the situation revealed.

Kanye's connection to the song is notable as Kid was once a G.O.O.D. Music artist while Pusha is president of G.O.O.D. label.

Drake previously received backlash for mocking Kid's mental illness in "Two Birds One Stone". Kid later tweeted a response to the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker, posting, "@Drake Say it to face, p***y. You think it's a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I'll be out soon. Promise."
