In his new song 'Two Birds One Stone', Drake makes fun of Kid's battle with depression while the latter is in rehab now.

AceShowbiz - Drake is under fire for making fun of Kid Cudi's mental illness in his new song "Two Birds One Stone". Many fans have taken issue with the lyrics, considering that Kid checked himself into rehab earlier this month for "depression and suicidal urges."

"You were the man on the moon/ now you go through your phases/ Life of the angry and famous," Drake raps, "Rap like I know I'm the greatest and give you the tropical flavors/ Still never been on hiatus/ You stay xan and perked up so when reality set in you don't gotta face it/ I'm down 200 in Vegas but winning in life on the daily/ It seems like no one wants to stay in my good graces/ I'm like a real estate agent, putting you n***as in your places/ Look what happens soon as you n***as talk to me crazy/ Is you crazy."

Many believe depression is not something to make fun of, especially in a community where mental illness still has a huge stigma which prevents many from seeking help.

One user tweets, "Kid Cudi goes into rehab w/ depression & suicidal urges. Drake releases a track dissing him. THIS is the greatest rapper of my generation?"

A second user posts, "Can't believe @Drake mocked Kid Cudi for suffering from depression. He can catch these hands for real. #MentalHealthFriendsUnite."

Another adds, "Drake making fun of kid cudi's depression just goes to show you the disrespect and neglect mental illness gets in the black male community."

Drake hasn't responded to the backlash yet. He celebrated his 30th birthday on Sunday, October 23 at Delila in Los Angeles with guests including Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, John Mayer, French Montana, Jamie Foxx, Shay Mitchell, Karlie Kloss and HAIM among others.
