Movie

Details about what's in post-credit and mid-credit scenes of the movie have surfaced, including how the Sorcerer Supreme is connected with other Marvel superheroes.

AceShowbiz - With "Doctor Strange" hitting international theaters early, it's only natural that spoilers are starting to surface. TheWrap has shared details about what's in post-credit and mid-credit scenes of the movie, including how the Sorcerer Supreme is connected with other Marvel superheroes as well as potential spoilers for both "Thor: Ragnarok" and a "Doctor Strange" sequel.

In the first scene of mid-credits, [SPOILER ALERT!] Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is having a drink with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), who is chugging a stein of beer that keeps refilling itself. Strange tells Thor that he is keeping a "watch list" of individuals and beings from other realms who "may become a threat to this world."

Strange also asks the God of Thunder why Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is in New York, to which Thor responds that both he and his brother are trying to find his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and bring him back to Asgard "promptly."

The second scene features Chiwetel Ejiofor's Baron Mordo who goes to find Jonathan Pangborn (Benjamin Bratt), a paraplegic who learned how to heal himself, after Strange defeats a villain from the dark dimension. He then says, "There are too many sorcerers," suggesting that he could be the primary villain a sequel.

In other news, it's reported that Derrickson already has a villain in mind to antagonize the Sorcerer Supreme in the sequel even though it has yet to be confirmed. "I really like the character of Nightmare and the concept that the Nightmare Realm is a dimension," he tells IGN. "That's early - that's like the first Strange tale. I think that's in the introductory episode of Doctor Strange, and I always loved that."

When asked why the character isn't included in the first movie, he responds, "We decided not to do that because that's a bit of a complex idea to try to introduce everything we do introduce and introduce the idea of nightmares themselves as being a dimension. I hope somewhere down the line we do get to explore that because I think that's super cool concept."

"Doctor Strange is coming to U.S. theaters on November 4. It's supported by Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benedict Wong and Amy Landecker.

Disney unveils an exclusive poster for the superhero flick just days ahead of its release. Fans can get the adorable, Funko-inspired poster for free by linking Disney Movie Rewards account with a Regal Crown Club membership.
