AceShowbiz - Rose McGowan said she was once raped by a studio head. Sharing her story in a string of Twitter posts on Thursday, October 13 using the hashtag #whywomendontreport, the actress revealed why she never alerted authorities about the incident.
McGowan didn't specifically mention which studio executive she's referring to, but she said she didn't do anything about the rape because a female criminal attorney told her at the time that she would never win against her rapist because she'd done a sex scene in a film.

"Because it's been an open secret in Hollywood/Media & they shamed me while adulating my rapist," she tweeted. "Because my ex sold our movie to my rapist for distribution. It is time for some goddamned honesty in this world."

McGowan becomes one of multiple ladies who have shared their stories of sexual abuse this week. She joins several women who accuse Donald Trump of inappropriately touching them in the past.
One of the ladies is Kristin Anderson, who claims that Trump touched her vagina when she was an aspiring model in 1990s. "I was at a club with my friends, and I'm talking to my friend who [was sitting] on my left side. I'm very clear on this," she told The Washington Post. "This is the vivid part for me. So the person on my right, who unbeknownst to me at that time, was Donald Trump, put their hand up my skirt... He did touch my vagina through my underwear. Absolutely."
During a rally in West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday, Trump took time to address the allegations, saying that all the claims made by the women were untrue. "These vicious claims about me of inappropriate conduct with women are totally and absolutely false," he told the crowd. "These claims are fabricated. They're pure fiction, and they're outright lies. These events never, ever happened."
