A week after checking into rehab for 'depression and suicidal urges,' the 'Pursuit of Happiness' hitmaker releases visuals for his latest single 'Frequency'.

AceShowbiz - Kid Cudi premieres a dark and creepy music video for "Frequency". The five-minute video focuses on a shirtless Cudi dancing alone in a dim-lit jungle to the loopy vibrations off the Mike Dean/Plain Pat-assisted track.
Nearly naked women party and dance throughout the creepy forest. The haunting video was directed by Cudi himself and produced by film writer Danyi Deats, who produced the visuals to Lana Del Rey's "Music to Watch Boys To" and T.I.'s "Private Show".
"Frequency" is the first single off Cudi's forthcoming album "Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'". The music video was released a week after Cudi checked into rehab for "depression and suicidal urges."
"Yesterday I checked myself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges," Cudi said in a statement, "I am not at peace. I haven't been since you've known me. If I didn't come here, I would've done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life. There's a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times."
He continued, "My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it. I can't make new friends because of it. I don't trust anyone because of it and I'm tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace. I deserve to be happy and smiling."
His album release was delayed prior to his rehab stint, but the "Day 'N' Nite" singer said his new record "is still on the way" although he "won't be around to promote much."
