The newly-engaged 'Dancing with the Stars' pro says the new sparkler from her fiance Sasha Farber has a 'vintage' look with a 'dusky, sort of rose' sapphire, adding, 'I actually don't like pink.'

Emma Slater is still beaming with happiness after getting engaged to Sasha Farber on "Dancing with the Stars" live show. Met backstage after the proposal, she showed off her wine-colored engagement ring that she picked herself.
Sasha told PEOPLE, "She had gone shopping and picked it. I spoke to her sister and she told me and I went and got it." Emma described the ring from Michael's Jeweler on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City as having a "vintage" look with a "dusky, sort of rose" sapphire.
She added, "It's actually the same color as my mom's ring. I actually don't like pink. I says it's a wine color."

Emma and Sasha met eight years ago and began dating two years later, but Sasha said he knew she's the one just "three or four months" after they met. They are in no rush to get married, though, and plan to stay engaged for about a year.
"We've been together five-and-a-half years. We bought a house recently and this feels like the natural progression," Emma said. "My mother said once that marriage should feel natural and not like a surprise. It should be expected because that's when it's right. It's already felt like I've been his fiancee and wife for years now. Apart from the heaviness of my arm [because of the ring,] it feels quite natural."
Speaking of their future wedding, Sasha joked that they "may have three weddings" because his family lives in his native Australia and Emma's family lives in her native England.
Sasha surprised Emma and got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage on "DWTS" results show, Tuesday, October 4. The pair then took to Instagram to share pictures from one of the happiest moments in their life.
"I will never forget this moment, the best day of my life. I'm engaged to @sashafarber1!!!!!! @dancingabc," Emma wrote in a caption of the photo showing Sasha getting down on his knee. "She said yessssssssss one moment in my life I will cherish for ever!!!!" Sasha posted on his own Instagram account.
