Casper Smart apparently thought that he might win Jennifer Lopez back with some flowers. So, the 29-year-old actor recently sent the diva two dozen pink roses, which he reportedly bought with HER money.

According to Life & Style, Smart really wanted to reconcile with the singer following their most recent breakup. "So he called up Jennifer's favorite florist and placed a custom order for $525," a source told the publication.

However, Smart ended up getting yelled at by J.Lo's manager who called him hours later after finding out that "he had charged the flowers to J. Lo's personal account." The manager asked him to "call the florist back and pay the $525 bill himself," a request Smart allegedly refused.

Responding to the suspicious story, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation and was told that it was not true. The "reliable" source told the site that report of Smart buying J.Lo flowers with her money was "false" and "so stupid."

J.Lo and Smart broke up last month after a five-year relationship. The songbird was said to dump him after he refused to go with her to a party. However, a source said that the former lovers' split was "amicable" and they were still "friends."

"It wasn't anything dramatic and they were on good terms - it just came to a natural end," the source claimed. "They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together."
