MTV VMAs 2016: Drake Presents Rihanna With Video Vanguard Award

The 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker makes a surprise appearance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards to present his rumored girlfriend with her big award.

AceShowbiz - %cDrake% made a surprise appearance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28. The "Hotline Bling" hitmaker presented the coveted %cMichael Jackson% Video Vanguard Award to his rumored girlfriend %cRihanna%.

During his speech, Drake, who sported a classic tuxedo, declared his love for RiRi. "Most of all, we love the woman who hasn't changed since day one," the "One Dance" crooner told the crowd, "She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old. She's one of my best friends in the world."

Drake then presented the coveted award to RiRi, who looked gorgeous in her silver floor-length dress. The couple hugged before the "We Found Love" songstress delivered her acceptance speech, saying, "This is such an amazing night... an amazing moment in my career."

Prior to her Vanguard Award, RiRi performed for the third time, delivering "B***h Better Have My Money" and "Needed Me". She donned a black wig with bangs, an all-black outfit and a purple fur scarf.
