Mariah Carey's estranged sister Alison has reportedly been arrested. The 55-year-old woman is allegedly facing a prostitution charge in Saugerties, New York. She is accused of "soliciting money in exchange for sexual favors."

Alison was busted by an undercover police officer posing as a client at an unidentified Saugerties hotel. The sting operation was set up after Alison posted an ad online. She reportedly referenced Mariah's 1995 hit "Fantasy" in the ad.

"Im a pretty lady looking for guys who are looking to have some fun and get into a world of pleasure that other woman just cant provide two you...," She reportedly advertised her service.

Described by authorities as "transient," Alison is due in court on August 30. She was sent to Ulster County Jail after being arraigned in Saugerties Town Court. Her bail is set at $1,000. Police advised anyone who had sex with Alison unprotected to go to their doctors.

Mariah Carey hasn't commented on her sister's arrest, but a source said they have been estranged "for years." The source told PEOPLE, "Mariah takes care of her entire family and I'm sure this is very painful for her."

Back in March, Alison pleaded to her famous sister for financial support. "Mariah I love you, and I desperately need your help, please don't abandon me like this," she said in a video for The Daily Mail.

Alison is reportedly struggling with HIV and recovering from drug addiction. She also suffered from brain and spine injuries after a home invasion attack in April 2015. She got estranged from Mariah after a huge fallout in 1994.
