Songwriter Alex Greggs claims the 23-year-old singer rips off the chorus of his 2012 song 'Takes All Night' performed by EDM artist Skye Stevens.

AceShowbiz - Another singer has been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit. Songwriter Alex Greggs sued Ariana Grande for allegedly stealing part of his 2012 song "Takes All Night" for her 2014 hit "One Last Time", TMZ reports.

In suit, Greggs claims the petite diva and producer David Guetta stole the music and lyrics of his song's chorus, like the part where she sings, "Take(s) [or taking] you home." He says he wrote and holds the copyright of "Takes All Night" performed by EDM artist Skye Stevens.

Greggs, who has been working with a bunch of A-listers in the music industry namely Lady GaGa, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson, is demanding a cut of the profits from Grande's track.

Grande has not responded to the lawsuit. She, instead, focuses her attention on her latest album "Dangerous Woman" by teasing a music video for "Side to Side", her collaboration with Nicki Minaj, which is featured on her third album.

The new music video will be released in full on Sunday night, August 28 on shop.guess.com.
