Frank Ocean reportedly will release his long-awaited album "Boys Don't Cry" this week. The follow-up to his acclaimed 2012 album "Channel Orange" will be unveiled on Friday, August 5 through an exclusive deal with Apple Music, according to a source.

The source tells New York Post that the release is also expected to include a major video and a printed publication with the same name which will be distributed at Apple stores. According to the source, Frank's new album is expected to remain exclusive to Apple for only two weeks before release.

The album announcement comes after Frank shared on his website a video which showed an empty room with workbenches and occasional background noises. Back in July, the "Thinkin Bout You" hitmaker posted a photo of a library book slip labeled "Boys Don't Cry", showing a series of stamped dates going back over a year.

Another musician who is gearing up for a new album is Pink. According to a new print advertisement spotted in France on Monday, August 1, the pop star will unveil her still-untitled record in November.

It's been four years since Pink released her solo album "The Truth About Love". She recently collaborated for a country tune with Kenny Chesney titled "Setting the World on Fire".
