What Tyler Hoechlin's Superman looks like has been revealed in this newly released photo of "Supergirl". The "Teen Wolf" alum suits up as the Man of Steel in the iconic red-and-blue supersuit and cap as he joins Melissa Benoist's Girl of Steel in the promo picture.

The Superman costume was designed by the show's costume designer Kiersten Ronning. Hoechlin gushed about taking on the iconic role when met at Comic-Con, "It's definitely incredibly surreal. I know the character represents so much to so many people. This is not a generational thing. This is something literally spread across so much time. There is a lot of responsibility with this character. I'm really excited. I have not tried on the suit yet. That will be a moment for sure."

Hoechlin's Superman will make his debut in the first two episodes of "Supergirl" season 2, when he visits his cousin Kara (Benoist) in National City. There will be tension when the two meet as executive producer Sarah Schechter previously teased, "Clark has a very different experience of what it means to have super powers on earth. There's some head-butting and philosophical approaches that are different. Well get into that."

"Supergirl" season 2 premieres Monday, October 10 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
