This Uber driver didn't realize how lucky he was when he had Lorde in his car. According to some hilarious tweets posted by the Kiwi singer during the ride earlier this week, the driver didn't seem to recognize her and instead bragged about another "celebrity passenger" he picked up before her.
"Uber driver currently busting a nut about the fact that there was a 'celebrity passenger' just before me," she wrote. "I can tell our ride, by comparison, sparkles significantly less for him. I can feel it from the back seat, his dazed glow. he's probably now pretending that i am not here, that they are still together, and alone."

It's unclear which celebrity Lorde's referring to. Responding to her posts, her pal Ellie Goulding shared a funny experience with her own Uber driver. "Mine said he had someone from Ellie Gouldings band in earlier. But didn't like her music soooo," the British beauty wrote, to which Lorde replied, "I just winced."
