Kanye West posted a super sweet tribute to his mother on her birthday. On Tuesday, July 12, the day Donda West would've turned 67 if she were alive, the rapper took to Twitter to post a throwback picture of him and his mom along with an emotional message that will make you cry.
The photo shows Kanye, probably in his early 20s, posing next to Donda who flashed a huge smile. In the caption, the father of two wrote, "NORI ASKED IF THE AIRPLANE COULD TAKE HER TO HEAVEN TO SEE YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY, I LOVE YOU MOM."

Donda West passed away in November 2007 after receiving multiple cosmetic surgeries. Her first granddaughter North West was born six years later in June 2013. 'Ye and his wife Kim Kardashian welcomed his second child, a boy named Saint West, last December.
Donda is also the inspiration behind some of her son's songs as well as a video game called "Only One: The Game". Earlier this year, Kanye honored his mother by wearing a T-shirt with her face on it during his Yeezy Season 3 event in New York City.
