AceShowbiz - Is there trouble in paradise for Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied? The couple, who got married on August 4, 2012 in an intimate Jewish ceremony in Big Sur, California, is said to be heading for divorce.
Star wrote in an article in its Wednesday, July 6 issue, "Remember, remember when Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied were young and in love? That may not be the case anymore." The tabloid reported that the 35-year-old actress was spotted at Chiltern Firehouse in London last month "sans wedding ring."
An eyewitness said of the "Thor" star during the outing, "She was trying to have a good time, but it seemed like her mind was somewhere else. She kept rubbing her empty ring finger. She looked really sad."
On what has drifted that pair apart, a source dished, "Their lives have been completely uprooted, and their relationship has taken a hit" after Millepied left his position at the Paris Opera Ballet.
Portman and Millepied have been living in London during the production of her upcoming movie "Annihilation".
Gossip Cop debunks the divorce rumor though, citing its own rock-solid insider as saying that "they are very happy and living in London while she shoots her film" and that there's "definitely no truth" to the story spread by Star.
