Ciara and Russell Wilson are officially husband and wife. The couple, who tied the knot at the Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England on Wednesday, July 6, shared on Instagram the first photo from their fairytale wedding ceremony.
In the photo, Ciara and Russell were seen grinning and holding hands as they made their way back down the aisle. She looked gorgeous in her cleavage-baring Roberto Cavalli white lace gown which boasted a long train and a matching veil. The "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer styled her ombre hair in soft waves, and carried a bouquet of white flowers. Russell, meanwhile, sported a black suit and flashed his wedding band.
"We are The Wilsons!" the newlyweds captioned the sweet snap.
Jennifer Hudson, Lala Anthony and Kelly Rowland were among guests at Ciara and Russell's wedding ceremony. A source tells E! News that it was a very traditional and "heartfelt" ceremony, filled with flowers and clean, classic decor.
According to the source, Russell looked like a "big, teary-eyed teddy bear" as Ciara walked down the aisle toward him. She was also shaking as she tried to hold back her tears. "Both of them were extremely nervous," the source said.
The ceremony ended when they said "I do" and shared a "very passionate" kiss, holding onto each other tightly. "It was not a quick kiss. They were locked," the source shared, "Everyone got so excited. [There] was not a dry eye in the room."
According to TMZ, Ciara and Russell were legally husband and wife the day before their fairytale wedding as a judge signed an application for their marriage certificate in King County, Washington on Tuesday, July 5. The marriage application lists their government names, Russell Carrington Wilson and Ciara Princess Harris.
On the same day, the pair were photographed stepping out together in Liverpool for their rehearsal dinner.
