What did Scarlett Johansson think about her title as the highest-grossing actress of all time? The Black Widow of Marvel Cinematic Universe was conflicted. She was excited and disappointed at the same time.
"It's exciting to be the only woman in this category," the 31-year-old star told Extra before quickly noting, "It's kind of disappointing actually to be the only woman in this category. That was a little bit of a surprise to me."
ScarJo becomes the biggest female moneymaker in movie industry with $3.33 billion. She lands on the tenth position in the overall list led by Harrison Ford and Samuel L. Jackson. At 31, she also becomes the youngest on the list. At least seven other women made it to the top 50 with Cameron Diaz as the second top-earning actress. She places 19th.
