Katy Perry was having a "romantic dinner" with her new beau Orlando Bloom at Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar in West Hollywood when she ran into her ex-boyfriend John Mayer. John had been spotted out many times in the area before his recent reunion with Katy.

Katy and John had a short interaction during their accidental reunion. However, they allegedly didn't look awkward with each other. The exes were seen chatting together and Orlando didn't seem to mind, an eyewitness told E! News.

Katy and John previously narrowly avoided one another when they went to Adele's concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles back in February. At the time, the "Fireworks" hitmaker was accompanied by Orlando while John attended the show with a mystery woman.

Last week, John told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" about his current relationship status. "I'm ready to roll. I'm more mature than I've ever been. The stage is set, but I'm excited for a meet cute at some point," he shared, "I'm single and I'm excited about the future."

He revealed that he's hit up a few gay clubs with Andy. "I can dig it. I can get into it," he said, "Andy-you guys must know-Andy is the hottest thing going. When you walk in a gay club with Andy Cohen, he is the Beyonce of that club. He is unbelievable. I've seen celebrity and I've seen pull and I've seen clout, but you have not seen anything like Andy Cohen walking in."
