'Suicide Squad' Director Confirms the Presence of A.R.G.U.S.

David Ayer teases fans with a hint about the presence of the secret organization in the film.

AceShowbiz - "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer has confirmed the existence of A.R.G.U.S. in the movie. He took to Twitter on Thursday, June 23 to share a picture of some sort of a manual called NHEJCO (Non-Human Entity Joint Combat Operations) featuring the logo of A.R.G.U.S.

Introduced in The New 52, the 2011 reboot of DC Comics, A.R.G.U.S. (Advanced Research Group Uniting Super-Humans) is a U.S. federal organization under the command of Director Amanda Waller.

Following the confirmation of the organization's presence in the movie, Ayer also informed fans on Twitter that post-production on the film had officially finished.

"Suicide Squad" is based on DC comic books of the same name. It centers on a secret government organization led by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) giving a mission to a task force comprising of super villains, the Suicide Squad. They are assigned to execute dangerous tasks in exchange for shorter prison sentences.

"Suicide Squad" stars Will Smith in lead role as an expert marksman and assassin Deadshot, and Jared Leto in the opposing side as a psychopathic supervillain Joker. Also starring Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Cara Delevingne and Karen Fukuhara, the film is slated to hit U.S. theaters on August 5.
