Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer for "Lights Out". The trailer offers new footage which sees Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) discovering the name of a mysterious woman, whom she and her brother Martin (Gabriel Bateman) saw when the lights go out, under the carpet at their mom's (Maria Bello) house.

Rebecca and Martin visit Sophie's house to find out about Diana (Alicia Vela-Bailey), the woman who they saw when the lights went out. Sophie reveals that Diana was her childhood friend who got something terrible happened to her, possibly a failed medical experiment. As Rebecca gets closer to unlocking the truth, there is no denying that their lives are in danger.

"Lights Out" is directed by David F. Sandberg based on his 2013 award-winning short film of the same name. Eric Heisserer, who wrote the script, also serves as producer alongside Lawrence Grey and James Wan ("The Conjuring", "Insidious", "Saw"). The horror flick is set to hit alarmingly dark U.S. theaters on July 22.
