Violett Beane confirms that she will return as Harry Wells' daughter in the upcoming third season, but she doesn't know if it's with or without powers.

When "The Flash" introduced Jesse Wells in season 2, fans were expecting the potential arrival of Jesse Quick, the character's alter ego in the DC Comics. However, that didn't happen until the end of the sophomore season. But don't give up hope yet, since Jesse will still be a part of the show in season 3.

Met at the 2016 Saturn Awards held on Wednesday, June 22, Violett Beane confirmed that she would be back and reprise her role as Harry Wells' daughter in the new installment of The CW's series. "I know I'll be back," she told TVLine, adding, "But I don't know if it's with or without powers."

Beane admitted she was as eager as fans were to see her character's transformation into a speedster, especially after Barry recreated the particle accelerator explosion that turned him into a speedster. The speed force wave that swept through S.T.A.R. Labs hit Jesse and Wally, sparking a speculation that they would become Jesse Quick and Kid Flash respectively.

"When Jesse got hit, I was like 'It's happening! It's happening!' " Beane shared. "There was the spark when she got out of the coma, but... it didn't happen, and I was like, 'No!' I'm very excited [to play a speedster], and would love for it to happen early next season."

Beane herself keeps hope alive that she will play a speedster, especially with the Flashpoint storyline at the beginning of season 3 that makes everything possible. "With the whole Flashpoint, anything can happen, right? It's literally open to any different kind of false reality," she said. "She could be Earth-One Jesse, she could be a speedster.... Who knows!"

"The Flash" season 3 premieres Tuesday, October 4 at 8/9c on The CW.
