Drake Sued for Allegedly Having Producer Detail Beaten Up

Detail claims that Drizzy ordered his bodyguard to assault him back in 2014 after the producer turned down offer to work for the rapper exclusively.

Drake is being sued over alleged beating. Producer Detail has filed a lawsuit against him, claiming the Canadian rapper ordered his bodyguard to attack him after their plans to make music together fell apart.

TMZ, which first reported the news, said that Drizzy asked Detail back in 2014 to work for him exclusively. The producer, who was behind multiple hits like Beyonce Knowles' "Drunk in Love" and Lil Wayne's "How to Love", ended up turning down the offer because he didn't want to be tied to only one musician.

The rejection apparently didn't sit well with Drake, who then invited Detail over in June 2014 to his home in Calabasas, CA to discuss another possible collaboration. The Detroit native said he arrived at the estate at 2 A.M. and later got beaten up by the "Degrassi: The Next Generation" alum's bodyguard Chubbs.

In his lawsuit, Detail recalled being told by Chubbs during the beating, "I will beat all your asses, including your b***hes. I don't give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake's a punk?"

The musician, whose real name is Noel Fisher, reportedly got punched in the face and was left with a broken jaw. He is now seeking unspecified damages from Drake, whom he previously worked together with on a song off the OVO leader's 2013 set "Nothing Was the Same".
