Invisible Jet Won't Appear in 'Wonder Woman'
Movie

Though the jet will not be featured in the film, it will be part of the movie's 75th anniversary celebration at San Diego Comic-Con.

AceShowbiz -

The upcoming "Wonder Woman" will not feature the famous invisible jet. DC Entertainment Chief Diane Nelson confirms it during an interview with PEOPLE while talking about DC Comic's plans to celebrate Wonder Woman's 75th anniversary.

Nelson tips fans off about what they can expect from the film starring Gal Gadot. "It will have its own tone and look - it's beautiful. There is humor in it, there is real emotion in Diana's journey in discovering the complexity of man," she says. "There is no invisible jet, not in this iteration," the chief continues.

Although the jet will not appear in the film, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment will bring the life-size replica of Wonder Woman's iconic invisible jet, which will illuminate at night, to San Diego Comic-Con. It will be accompanied by many Wonder Woman-inspired artworks, including graffiti and costumes. There will also be a "Wonder Woman 75" panel which will discuss the princess' long history. Additionally, DC plans to release a new Wonder Woman comic entitled "Rebirth" next month.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, the "Wonder Woman" film starring Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen and Lucy Davis is set for a June 2, 2017 U.S. release. The film is produced by Charles Roven and Zack Snyder, and executive produced by Richard Suckle, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Rebecca Roven.

Following "Wonder Woman", Gadot will reprise the role as the Amazonian Princess in "Justice League Part One". The actress will star alongside Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa in the Zack Snyder-directed film.
