New parents Chrissy Teigen and John Legend took baby Luna to the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on Thursday, June 2 ahead of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. They came early to the venue as the R&B crooner had to do sound check before performing the National Anthem at the big game.
The proud father took a video of his wife and his 7-week-old daughter, who was sleeping, on the court and shared it on his Snapchat. "Luna at the #NBAFinals!!!" he wrote across the video which showed most of the seats at the court still empty.
Chrissy was also spotted taking a selfie with her baby who was sound asleep. In a message posted on Twitter, the model stressed that the bundle of joy would only be around during John's rehearsal. "Lol just rehearsal - she is noooooot going to be at the game," she assured her fans.
The 30-year-old beauty then attempted to trick her haters, who have been criticizing her parenting skills since welcoming her daughter in April. She took to Snapchat to document the process. She put baby Luna to sleep in the VIP suite at halftime and wrapped up a stuffed animal in Luna's blanket to make people think that she brought her baby into the crowded arena. "Twitter is going to get so mad," she said with a laugh.
But her attempt to prank her haters appeared to fail. The "Lip Sync Battle" commentator later shared a frowning selfie and wrote across the pic, "We couldn't bring the fake baby." Despite the failed attempt to troll her haters, the couple seemed to have a good time as they were all smiles in a picture which John shared on Instagram.
The Warriors defeat the Cavaliers 104-89 at the game.
