Sources connected to Amber tell TMZ that Amber had visible marks on her face when two police officers responded to the 911 call on May 21. The sources claim that the officers either didn't see the marks or are lying to protect Depp.
LAPD officials insist the two cops did indeed look for injuries and found none. According to doctors who routinely treat trauma injuries, when someone was hurled by an iPhone, it would cause immediate swelling and some discoloration.
Amber's neighbor and close friend Raquel Rose Pennington previously alleged that she saw Johnny picking up "a magnum sized wine bottle and began swinging it like a baseball bat" and "smashed everything he could." But the officers claim there was no evidence of any broken glass in the apartment. Sources say that's because Amber met the officers in an adjoining unit and they never went to the one where the incident went down.
Amber's people say she's the only one who swore under oath her version of events were accurate, while Johnny never filed a sworn declaration.
