Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson continues to be the most wanted man in Hollywood. The relentless actor has added an action movie described as "Die Hard in China" to his pile of work which already includes "Jumanji", "Fast and Furious 8" and "The Janson Directive".

Johnson will be re-teaming with "Central Intelligence" director Rawson Marshall Thurber for the new action film officially titled "Skyscraper". According to Deadline, it will follow one man who "goes up against extraordinary circumstances." Thurber is also writing the film.

The project sparked a bidding war between big studios such as Sony, Paramount and New Line. It was Legendary and Universal who eventually won the rights as they reportedly made a seven-figure offer. "Mary Parent, who runs Legendary now, was said to be aggressive in wooing the property from other bidders," Deadline reported.

Johnson will next be seen in "Central Intelligence", in U.S. theaters June 17, and his voice will be featured in Disney's November 23 animation "Moana". There was also a talk about him starring in a remake of John Carpenter's "Big Trouble in Little China" but nothing is set in stone yet.
