Kanye West plays matchmaker for his sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend French Montana. According to Radar Online, the "Gold Digger" rapper is desperate for a reunion between the former couple because he believes the two are "the perfect match."

"Kanye's a big fan of French and doesn't understand why Khloe doesn't give him another chance," a family insider tells the site. "He's been singing French's praises to her." According to the insider, Kanye feels Khloe didn't give French a fair chance because she was still dealing with Lamar Odom's issues.

Kim Kardashian's husband also thinks French was being too needy during his eight-month relationship with Khloe.

The insider reveals, "Now Khloe knows there's no future with Lamar, so Kanye is desperate for her to try dating French again. She and French have remained friends and will occasionally hookup for old time's sake, but Kanye knows he wants to be more than just a friend with benefits."

"He thinks French and Khloe are the perfect match and he's orchestrating for him to attend family events - whether Khloe wants him there or not," adds the insider.

Back in February, Khloe stepped out with French following her split from James Harden. However, she denied that they're back together. "It's frustrating that I can't even celebrate my friends birthday with a group of people without rumors flying!" the 31-year-old reality star wrote on Twitter. "Why is it hard to believe that exes can be cordial? Simple simple simple minds. Don't make nothing into something."
